Eyre Square Townhouse, Galway

Eyre Square Townhouse

The Eyre Square Townhouse is situated right in the centre of Galway city in the west of Ireland. We were looking for a central place to stay near the train station as we were arriving by rail in the evening and also somewhere within walking distance of the pubs and bars. The Eyre Square Townhouse fitted the bill perfectly as it is located less than five minutes' walk from Galway railway station and about two minutes' walk from shops, pubs and restaurants as it is just off Eyre Square, a popular focal point of the city.

The Eyre Square Townhouse is a modern guesthouse above an award-winning cafe, Cafe Revive. Although the cafe has been around for a while, the guesthouse is new. Inside, the rooms are clean, light and modern with neutral decor and air-conditioning. The room we had was an adequate size for a city stay, had ensuite facilities and the bed was really comfortable as it had cotton sheets and a lovely soft, fluffy duvet. The Eyre Square Town House is ideal for a stopover in Galway, as we did, or for a longer stay in the city as it is in such a central location.
